Dr. Alfred Kishe- Medical Doctor

Dr. Alfred Kishe was born in Arusha and completed  his O and A level at Ilboru Secondary School. He  then went on to complete his undergraduate degre in medicine from Kilimanjaro Christian Medical  Centre (KCMC) in Moshi. He completed these  studies in 2009/2010 and began working at St. Joseph’s hospital as registrar for the general  surgery department. In 2012 he joined PTWC as  the main medical doctor and also assists on various  research projects. In the future he hopes to be a  specialize to be a general surgeon. He currently  resides in Moshi with his wife and child, Cyrus.

Lilian Maro- Assistant Nurse

Lilian Maro is from Moshi and completed her O level  at Mawenzi Secondary School. She later went on to complete nursing school at Iteba School of Nursing in Dar es Salaam where she obtained a nursing assistant certificate. She then worked in a variety of pharmacies in Dar es Salaam before joining PTWC in 2013 as a nurse assistant. She resides in  Moshi with her child, Noreen. In the future she  wants to return to school to gain her diploma.


Jackline Kilawe- Office administrative  assistant/Social Worker

Jackline Kilawe is from Boma Ng'ombe in Kilimanjaro Region. She completed her O level at Narumu Secondary School and her A Level at Kibosho Secondary School. She then went on to gain her Bachelor Degree in Sociology at St. Augustine University. She was working in Moshi with various NGOs doing counseling and social work before joining us in November 2015.





Dorothea Mathayo Machui- Cook/cleaner

Dorothea, “Doro”, was born in Moshi and studied in  Rau. She began work at PTWC in 2009. She  currently resides in Moshi with her four children,  Margaret, Evans, Amina, and Mwasiti. She hopes to  one day open her own business in Mosh.





Longford Msechu- Driver

Longford Msechu is from Marangu, Kilimanjaro  Region. He completed Standard 8 in 1965 and later  joined KCMC as a driver for 22 years before coming  to PTWC. He is married with eight children:  Emmanuel, Glory, Esther, Glady, Lina, James,  Lawrence, and Eliichi.




Azalina Simu

Azalina Simu hails from Babati, Arusha and did her O  level at Msaranga Secondary School. She then  moved with her family to Moshi and began  volunteering at PTWC and joined full time in 2015.
